8 hour Confined Space Awareness program
The course complies with OSHA 29 CFR-1910-146. This Confined Space Entry course will enable the Entrant, Attendant, or Supervisor to safely and confidently understand and evaluate the hazards and procedures associated with confined spaces. The training is designed to help the student differentiate between a "Permit-Required" confined space and a "Non" Permit-Required confined space. This course addresses the hazards associated with confined spaces, outlines the duties and responsibilities of all members of confined space entry teams including emergency rescue procedures as well as plan development.

24 hour Confined Space Operations
This course complies with OSHA 29 CFR-1910-146. The program combines classroom instruction with equipment orientation and practice procedures, this program will provide students with the knowledge needed to perform confined spaces rescue. Along with performing actual vertical and horizontal rescue and learning the proper packaging in removing patients from confined spaces this courses topics include: Supplied Airline Breathing Apparatus, Self Contained Breathing Apparatus, Atmosphere Monitoring, Communication System, Lockout / Tag out Procedures, Rope Rescue Techniques, Personal Protective Equipment, Documentation and Pre-Entry Considerations.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course will address the regulations governing confined space entry and rescue, confined space hazards, atmospheric monitoring, hazard control, confined space permits, space assessment, personal protective equipment, respiratory protective system, patient recovery systems and removal devices, and rescue team organization. The course includes actual hands-on rescue scenarios.
Techniques include; entry procedures to gaining access, packaging and removing victims that are no longer in view from entry point. Evolutions including high-angle rope systems and machinery rescue skills for complex rescues. Preplanning confined space rescue operations will also be addressed. This course meets and exceeds NFPA 1670 for technician level confined space rescue.
