HAZWOPER for the Health Care Providers This 24 hour program provides the student with the knowledge needed to determine the role of the health care worker, recognizes and Identify hazardous materials, personnel protective equipment, prepare and protect the emergency room, set up decon corridor for mass-casualties incidents. Students will walk through several exercises setting up decon, and patient decontamination procedures.

8 Hour First Responder Awareness Level Training

Per 29 CFR 1910.120(q)(6)(i), First responders at the awareness level are individuals who are likely to witness or discover a hazardous substance release and who have been trained to initiate an emergency response sequence by notifying the proper authorities of the release. They would take no further action beyond notifying the authorities of the release.

40 hour First Responder Operations Level Training


Per 29 CFR 1910.120(q)(6)(ii), First responders at the operations level are individuals who respond to releases or potential releases of hazardous substances as part of the initial response to the site for the purpose of protecting nearby persons, property, or the environment from the effects of the release. They are trained to respond in a defensive fashion without actually trying to stop the release.

24 hour HAZWOPER Training
This course fulfills your requirements for training certification under 29 CFR, Part 1910.120 (e), or other applicable state regulations for certification to the 24-hour Occasional Site Worker level. OSHA has developed the HAZWOPER training program to protect the workers working at hazardous sites and devised extensive regulations to ensure their safety and health.

Advanced Hazmat Management

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

This Advanced Hazmat Management course incorporates two advanced-level courses during an 8 hour day. First, Recognition and Identification / Protective Measures and Procedures using the latest technologies used in managing a hazardous materials release. Recognize & Identify containers shapes & sizes, atmosphere pressure, low pressure, high pressure & ultra-high pressure containers and their associated hazards, also analytical rule of engagement/mitigation procedures (Hands-On). Second, Critical Decision-Making Skills we’ll refine participants’ decision-making skills, enabling them to protect the public and the environment in the first few minutes of a HazMat Incident that can make the difference using Emergency Management Technologies LLC. “Five Steps to Success” Street Smart Chemistry process... Will cover the (SBCCOM) 3-30 Rule of Engagement. Our staff will review numerous topics including simple extraction of need to know information from chemical & physical properties of known chemicals and first-in & second-in technologies to an incident. Our staff will refine the student’s skills on RAD meter, CGI, Temp gun, pH paper, F paper, PID, FID, direct-reading instruments. The student will also be challenged with live chemistry, Solids, Liquids, Paste and Gels while trying to identify unknown chemicals using your HazMat Team’s first- in & second technologies like infrared spectroscopy (HazMat ID) or Raman spectroscopy (Ahura First Defender/Tru-Defender). This methodology of Instructions pulls the Incident together just likes the real thing. This hands on evolution builds confidents in your technologies and develops great teamwork.

160 Hr. Hazardous Materials Technician
160 hr. Hazardous Materials Technician course. It will prepare participants to take the State of Florida Hazardous Materials Technician Certification Exam.  This is a 4-week course and attendance of all 20 days is required in order to receive a certificate.
